New Look for NCGA’s Flex-Fuel SUV

In 2005, the Minnesota Corn Growers Association graciously donated a new flex-fuel GMC Yukon to the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) to serve a practical purpose while functioning as a rolling billboard promoting corn ethanol. The association has used it widely – it now has about 53,000 miles on it – and it recently received a reinvented look that helps it stand out.

“While the Yukon is great to drive in bad weather or on dirt roads, it also helps us get a key message out in an interesting way,” said NCGA chief executive officer Rick Tolman. “Corn ethanol provides a clean, affordable, renewable domestic fuel source for our nation.”

The wrap job was provided free to NCGA after the organization won an Internet contest sponsored by New Vision Graphics of Batesville, Ark. Wraps such as this are durable, washable, removable and don’t damage a vehicle’s factory paint finish.
