Kansas Launches Program to Offer Range of Ethanol Blends

WARWICK, N.Y. (DTN) -- The Kansas Department of Agriculture recently launched a pilot project in the state that allows retail fueling stations to sell gasoline blends that contain between 10 and 85 percent ethanol.
The pilot project will allow the ethanol blends to be offered on a trial basis until Jan. 1, 2009. Currently, 28 stations in Kansas, sell E85, which contains 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.
