One of the research projects funded by the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee (CCAC) is the South Platte Basin Efficiency Monitoring water project. Its primary focus is water table data collection to support accurate information of existing ground water levels in the South Platte Basin.  Review of the data collected will help in making administrative decisions regarding current and future river management.

Recently, Mark Sponsler, executive director of Colorado Corn, accompanied Charlie Bartlett, Merino area farmer and CCAC Vice President, on his collection rounds.
