Growers are Meeting All Needs

• U.S. corn growers are meeting all needs, producing more corn each year than is needed.
   
• From 2009’ corn crop, the estimated carry‐out stocks is 1.8 billion bushels —an amount that is above the 10‐year average.
   
• Corn farmers are growing more corn on the same acreage …the record yield in 2009 was 164.9 bushels per acre, up 20% since 2000.
