Sen. Bennet hears from farmers in Yuma, Burlington

Colorado Corn board members sent a clear message, united with representatives from other agricultural organizations, to members of Sen. Michael Bennet’s office during open meetings regarding the Farm Bill Monday in Yuma and Tuesday in Burlington.

 

You can still get your chance to voice your opinion with meetings schedule Wednesday in La Junta and Limon and Thursday in Greeley.

Dear Colorado Corn Grower Member,

No issue has taken a greater amount of attention in Congress and the media this year than the Federal Budget deficit.  Many farm organizations, including NCGA, have policy in favor of a balanced federal budget.  To accomplish this, it is clear that farmers and Farm Bill programs will likely be impacted.
